ABOUT CIP

About Culver Ice Productions
Culver Ice Productions (CIP) was founded in 2013 at the Culver Ice Arena in Culver City, California by Crystalrose Sanders. When the rink closed the following year, the team faced an uncertain future. Instead of disbanding, CIP embraced resilience—training in new rinks, adapting to new environments, and continuing to grow together.
What started as a single team has flourished into a multi-level program. In 2015, CIP expanded to two teams, in 2020 a third, and in 2022 a fourth. Now, in 2025, CIP proudly launched its first Large Production Ensemble, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey.
CIP alumni have gone on to perform around the world with Disney On Ice—bringing beloved characters such as Moana, Olaf, Flounder, and Tinkerbell to life—as well as starring in Knott’s Merry Farm’s Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas as Snoopy.
On the competitive stage, CIP is one of the most decorated showcase organizations in the nation, earning:
-
12 National Showcase Championships (current champions)
-
8 Silver Medals
-
2 Bronze Medals
-
3 Pewter Medals
These honors span across Pre-Juvenile, Juvenile, Junior, and Senior teams.
Beyond competition, our artistry has reached global audiences. CIP has collaborated six times with On Ice Perspectives, collectively earning over 3 million views across social platforms and receiving recognition from America’s Got Talent.
With every season, Culver Ice Productions continues to push boundaries, inspire audiences, and foster a culture of creativity, excellence, and teamwork. The future is bright—and we’re just getting started.
