Crystalrose Sanders

Founder, Head Coach & Choreographer

Crystalrose Sanders is a nationally recognized figure skating coach and choreographer with over 15 years of experience developing elite athletes and award-winning productions across regional, national, and international stages.

Competitive & Performance Background

Crystalrose is a Double Gold Medalist in Senior Moves in the Field and Senior Freestyle and an eight-time competitor at the Pacific Coast Regionals. She is a 15-time National Showcase Champion and has worked with esteemed choreographers, including Piercyn Hunt.

She is a six-time Theater on Ice Champion and former Team USA member with Harmony Theatre Company, earning silver medals at the Theater on Ice World Championships in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Crystalrose also toured professionally as a cast member of Disney on Ice: High School Musical – The Ice Tour (2007–2008), choreographed by renowned director Cindy Stuart.

Coaching & Choreography Experience

Crystalrose began her coaching career in 2009 at Culver Ice Arena, where she specializes in choreography for competitive skaters at the regional, national, and international levels. Her work has produced elite-level talent, including skaters hired by Disney on Ice in featured roles such as Tinkerbell, Olaf, Flounder, Mulan, Minnie Mouse and Moana.

She serves as the Lead Choreographer for Culver Ice Productions, a 12-time National Showcase Mini Production Champion since 2012. Crystalrose has trained numerous top-level athletes, including:

  • Koko Hirano — 2024 & 2025 National Showcase Parade of Champions Gold Medalist

  • Weyna Chen — 2025 Parade of Champions Silver Medalist

  • Carissa Lai — 2025 Parade of Founders Champions Pewter Medalist

  • Cugno & Rapkine - 2025 Parade of Duet Champions Pewter Medalists

Professional Leadership & Credentials

Crystalrose is a Certified Registered Choreographer with the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) and has been ranked twice in the PSA Ranking System as a Showcase Coach/Choreographer (July 2023 and December 2023). She has served as Vice Chair of Showcase Pacific Coast for U.S. Figure Skating since 2019 and is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Representative for the All Year Figure Skating Club.

In 2025, Crystalrose was nominated for Choreographer of the Year, recognizing her continued impact on the sport.

Cassie Kaplan

Spin Specialist, Choreography Assistant & Visual Concept Stylist

Cassie Kaplan is an accomplished spin specialist and artistic collaborator with extensive experience in competitive figure skating, choreography support, and visual design. Her technical expertise and creative eye play a vital role in the success and signature style of Culver Ice Productions.

Competitive Background

Cassie is a Pacific Coast Regional competitor and four-time National Showcase competitor. She is a Theater on Ice National Champion (2016) and earned multiple international and national medals with Harmony Theatre Company, including:

  • Bronze Medal — Theater on Ice (2015)

  • Silver Medal — Theater on Ice (2014)

  • Team USA Champion — Harmony Theatre Company, France (2015)

Coaching & Artistic Contributions

Cassie specializes in advanced spin technique, with a strong passion for developing innovative spin positions and refining execution at the highest level. Since 2014, she has co-taught alongside her sister, Crystalrose Sanders, contributing to choreography, program development, and athlete presentation for Culver Ice Productions.

In addition to her coaching role, Cassie serves as the Visual Concept Stylist, overseeing the creative vision and execution of makeup design for all Culver Ice Productions performances, ensuring cohesive storytelling and polished presentation on the ice.

Jessica “T” Terzian

Professional Ice Show Performer & Choreographer

Jessica “T” Terzian is a professional ice show performer and choreographer with a strong background in theatrical skating, competitive ice theater, and performance-driven choreography. Her work blends expressive storytelling with technical precision, making her a valued creative contributor both on and off the ice.

Professional Performance Experience

Jessica is a current performer in the Knott’s Berry Farm Ice Show and has been featured in over 13 professional ice shows since 2011. Her performance career spans a wide range of styles, with a focus on character development, musicality, and theatrical presentation.

Competitive & Ice Theater Background

Jessica was a longtime member of the Los Angeles Ice Theater (LAIT) from 2004 to 2013, where she earned distinction as a three-time International Gold Medalist. She also served as Assistant Choreographer for LAIT’s Senior Teamfor three years.

Throughout her competitive career, Jessica competed at the regional and national levels, as well as in numerous showcase competitions across the West and Midwest over a seven-year span.

Coaching & Creative Contributions

Jessica specializes in choreography and creative movement, emphasizing performance quality, showmanship, and artistic detail. Since 2022, she has shared her expertise with Culver Ice Productions teams, helping skaters develop confident stage presence and dynamic storytelling on the ice.


KOKO HIRANO

Koko Hirano

Role Model & Fine Tuner

Koko Hirano is a highly accomplished figure skater and emerging coach with a lifelong dedication to excellence in the sport. Known for her strong technical foundation, artistry, and positive leadership, Koko brings both elite experience and genuine passion to her work with developing skaters.

Since 2023, Koko has been coaching alongside Crystalrose Sanders and Cassie Kaplan, where she specializes in jump technique, artistic refinement, and off-ice training. She is committed to helping skaters fine-tune their skills while fostering confidence, work ethic, and a lasting love for skating. Her coaching philosophy centers on guiding athletes to reach their full potential while celebrating progress and enjoying the journey.
